Hawk : Blazing Saints MC Page 8
“I’m fucking starving. Let’s get food since pussy is off the table unless you want club pussy,” I say as I stand and leave the room.
I walk across the clubhouse to the kitchen where there’s an amazing smell of food coming from. Someone is cooking up a storm.
I push open the door to the kitchen. “What is that fucking amazing smell?” I ask to no one in particular.
“Hannah cooked for everyone. She does this when she’s stressed,” Jen answers.
I look at the countertop and see everything from bread, cookies, cake, theirs three different salads, pasta and some kind of chicken.
“Holy fuck, this looks like a restaurant,” I say. I can’t help but take a deep inhale in to smell it all. My mouth starts to salivate.
“Who ordered in?” Jax replies behind me with a big grin on his face.
“Hannah made food,” Jen replies eating some kind of ice cream.
“Whatcha eating there, Jen?” Jax asks her.
“She made gelato,” Jen replies licking her spoon. “Don’t you guys know my cousin has Michelin stars for cooking. That’s like one of the highest awards for cooking. She’s professionally trained especially in Italian and French cooking,” she continues.
I had no fucking idea. I really didn’t know what she did for a living.
“Wow. Where is she now?” I ask as I pick an olive from one of the salads.
“She’s with Jimmy.” That doesn’t sit well with me. The prospect better not be fucking her. I’ll have his head.
“Where?” I ask angrily.
“Uh. I don’t know they said they were going for a walk,” Jen replies angrily.
I storm out of the kitchen and towards Jimmy’s room. I’m about to knock on the door when I hear giggling coming from inside. I change my mind and knock it down.
I find Tim the other prospect on top of some girl. He quickly jumps off and stand before me.
“Pres,” he asks confused.
“Who is with you? Hannah?”
The person under the covers shows her face. “Who is Hannah?” It’s some club bitch.
“Not you.”
“Pres, I’m sorry if she’s yours. I didn’t know,” Tim states worried.
“She’s not mine. Go on, prospect. I was looking for something and didn’t find it,” I say as I walk out.
What the fuck is wrong with me? I can’t believe I just did that. Where the fuck is Jimmy and Hannah and why the fuck was Tim fucking on his bed?
I walk back to the kitchen and find Hannah sitting with Jimmy at one of the tables. I walk over to the table. “Where were you Prospect?” I ask him.
“Hannah wanted to go for a walk around the grounds and I escorted her for protection,” he replies.
“Is something wrong?” Hannah asks.
“No. Thank you for cooking all this food,” I say. I can feel myself clenching my jaw as I talk. I can’t help it. I don’t like her being alone with him. I grab myself a little of everything and sit next to Delta and Axl.
“My fucking god this is amazing,” I say out loud. I can’t help but lick my fingers.
“Wait, until you try the pasta. Apparently, she made it from scratch, like rolling it out and shit,” Delta says with a mouthful of food.
I fork some pasta into my mouth. Wow. I look over to Hannah and notice her watching me eat. I give her a wink. She gives me a small smile. I’m one of those assholes who can eat anything they want and not gain weight. I gain muscle. I finish up my food and place my plate in the sink. I walk over to Hannah and place my arms on the table around her and whisper into her ear, “that was fucking delicious.”
Chapter 10
Hannah
I don’t know what just happened. Hawk was pissed that I went for a walk with Jimmy, yet he’s the one that ordered him to protect me. Then he eats my food and comes over and sexy talks his way into my ear. I felt a pang down between my legs when his hot breath hit my ear. What is going on with me? I feel a mess of emotions.
I walk my way to the bar and order myself some whiskey. I need to relax a little. Jimmy is close by talking to some girl. It’s just adults in the area now. There are a lot of wives and kids in this club. A lot of professionals too, I never expected so many doctors, nurses, attorneys, and accountants to be the wives of the bikers. Not that I blame them because they’re all GQ models. Surprisingly, none of the leaders of the club have girlfriends or wives. I’m curious as to why that is.
“Here ya go hun. Enjoy,” the prospect tending bar hands me a glass with whiskey. I take a large sip. Oooh that’s good.
“Thank you. That’s some good stuff,” I say after taking another sip.
“It sure is. I always keep the finest whiskey available. I’ll take a beer Prospect,” Hawk says sitting next to me. The prospect hurries and grabs him one superfast. I’ve never seen someone move so fast.
“Nothing like a cold one after a great meal. Where did you learn to cook like that?”
“I went to school, I studied in Italy and France for a few years before coming back to the US and running a few restaurants.”
“Why have you never opened your own?”
“I never wanted that much responsibility. I like cooking and creating menus, I don’t like dealing with all the finances and logistics of running a business. I stopped working in a restaurant though. I run a blog now and make videos or I used to make videos,” I say. I don’t tell him I stopped working in restaurants because my body couldn’t handle the stress after being beat so many times.
“Why do I get the feeling that you aren’t telling me everything?”
“Because I’m not,” I say as I take a sip of my whiskey.
As we are sitting at the bar, a girl comes up to Hawk and sits on his lap.
“Hey there, Hawky waky,” she says putting her arms around his neck.
“Ew,” I blurt out accidentally.
“Shut up, you fat bitch. He likes this,” she says pointing to her body. She looks like a crack whore. Her body is so slim and bruised in the folds of her arms and she’s covering up scabs on her face probably from scratching. What’s her dysfunction?
“Again, ew.” I get up and start walking away. The bitch sitting on Hawk’s lap tries to reach for me. Hawk grabs her hand and tosses her off him.
“You will not touch her or disrespect her,” he says. “Get out of here and don’t come near me or her again, you got it?”
She nods her head in understanding. She looks terrified.
“You didn’t have to do that,” I say.
“I did, no one disrespects in my club, especially not you,” he says before he gets up and walks over to the couch where my cousin is sitting. I follow behind and the only open seat is right next to Hawk. He pats the seat cushion next to him for me to sit down.
“Ugh, I think I’m going to sit next to Jimmy at the bar,” I say.
“I won’t bite,” Hawk says.
Oh how much I would love for him to bite. I haven’t been touched by a man willingly in a very long time. I walk over and take a seat next to him. I can feel the warmth from his body and he smells so good.
“Thanks.”
“Hannah, you cooked all that delicious food. You have magic coming from your fingers,” Jax says from across from me.
“Wait, until you try her baked goods. If we are lucky enough she will make a cake for us. She used to make all my birthday cakes,” Jimmy says walking over and sitting on the arm of the couch where I am and putting an arm on my back.
I notice Hawk looking at him and he removes his arm. I give him a look.
“How exactly do you two know each other?” Hawk asks.
“Han?” Jimmy looks at me, asking me if it’s okay to talk about it.
“Go ahead,” I say.
“Hannah and I used to date way back when,” Jimmy says. Hawk doesn’t look to pleased.
“Why did you two break up?” Jax asks.
“I e
nlisted in the military and had to leave. We decided together that it was best to go our separate ways. We were together for two years,” Jimmy states.
“It was tough saying goodbye to someone you spent two years with. Jimmy was and is a good guy, any girl would be lucky to have him,” I say to him squeezing his leg.
“Thanks Han, any guy would be lucky to have you and would definitely need a fast metabolism too,” he says patting his rock hard abs and everyone starts laughing.
“So why didn’t you guys reconnect after all these years?” Hawk asks.
“I think time passed and we had our own lives. I honestly thought this guy would have a wife and 6 kids by now,” I say.
Everyone starts laughing. It’s weird to think about. I’m not really sure why Jimmy and I didn’t reconnect. I also don’t know why my cousin didn’t tell me Jimmy was around. I’ll have to ask her about that later.
I keep feeling a lot of discomfort on the laceration on my scalp. It’s throbbing. I was trying to ignore it but it’s killing me. I lean over to Hawk’s ear and whisper, “Do you know where I can find Doc?”
He looks at me about to ask why I need doc, but I plead with my eyes. “Yeah, let me show you,” he whispers back.
He stands up and offers me his hand. “Come on,” he says.
“Pres?” Jimmy asks.
Hawk looks at him and he shuts up. “Come,” Hawk says again. I grab his hand and he helps me up. It still hurts to move a little. He continues to hold my hand as we walk. I grab his forearm with my other hand and lean up.
“You don’t have to show me, you could have just told me where to find him,” I say.
“I didn’t want you to get lost.” He leads me down the hallway and finally we end up in a different wing of the clubhouse. It looks newer.
“Where are we?”
“This is the new wing we just constructed for leadership. Doc is probably in his room, hacking away at his computers or doing paperwork.” He knocks on one of the doors and then walks in.
Upon entering the room I see Doc sitting on his bed with his laptop in his lap and a bunch of papers around him. He’s also shirtless. This guy is solid muscle. I’ve never seen a man with so much lean muscle. I can see every ripple. Wow. I need to close my mouth.
“Hey Hawk, what’s going on?” Doc says without looking up.
“Hi Doc,” I manage to get out. Hawk is still holding my hand.
“Oh, Hi Hannah. Hawk is usually the only one who barges in without consent. I didn’t think he had someone with him,” Doc says. He puts his laptop down and stands up. “Is everything okay?” he asks as he puts the shirt sitting next to him on.
“I’m having really bad pain on the cut on my scalp. I was wondering if you could take a look at it,” I say holding my head where it hurts.
“Of course, have a seat.” He looks down to where Hawk is still holding my hand and lifts his eyebrow.
“Hawk,” I say as I squeeze his hand. He looks down and releases my hand. I have a seat on Docs bed. “Super comfortable bed Doc. What is this? I need to get one for myself when I get back on my feet.” This is amazingly comfortable. I’ve never sat on something like this, it’s like a pillow engulfing me.
“Don’t get too comfortable,” Hawk blurts.
I shoot him a look. Where did that come from? He just leans back and crosses his arms as he looks at me from against the wall.
“Alright, let me grab some gloves and take a look.” Doc walks to his bathroom and grabs a pair of gloves. “Can you lower your hood for me, Hannah?”
I lower it down.
“It looks like one of your stitches popped open. I’m going to need to do two layers of stitches. Let’s get you to triage and I can fix you right up,” Doc says.
I feel embarrassed having my head out. I don’t want Hawk to see me like this, I don’t want anyone seeing me like this.
“You don’t have to hide from me,” Hawk says.
“What?” I reply.
“You don’t have to hide your scars or hair or be embarrassed.”
“Why would you want to look at this? My hair is awful. I’m thinking about shaving it off. Half of it is already shaved off and the other is all long. I’m disgusting. I have scars, burns and bruises everywhere.”
“I think you are beautiful with all your scars,” he says as he walks over and kneels between my legs. He lifts my chin to look at him.
“Alright,” Doc says as he returns from the bathroom. “Oh, am I interrupting something?”
“No, Hawk was just helping me out with something,” I reply quickly.
He looks at us weirdly. “Okay, well how about we head over to triage and get you fixed up?”
“Okay. Let’s go,” I stand and Hawk stands with me. Our bodies touching, I can feel our heat mixing.
“Lead the way,” Hawk says to Doc. Hawk walks right next to me as we make our way to triage.
“Up on the table my dear,” Doc says. He has everything all prepared.
I lower my hood down again and he gets to work. Hawk stays with me the whole time. I didn’t ask him to but he’s barely touching me the whole time. I don’t know how Doc is working with him being so close and hovering.
“All done. This should hold this time. There’s a lot of tension on the scalp but these will be good. Is there anything else I can do for yah while we are here?”
“Doc, I wanted to ask you about something. Hawk would you mind stepping out?”
“I’ll be outside waiting.” I wait for Hawk to leave the room before talking to Doc.
“Doc, I’ve been wondering if you could check me again for STD’s? I think it’s been enough time between when that guy tried rape me and for something to come up. I’d also like a pregnancy test.”
“I can absolutely do that. Let’s draw some blood okay?”
“Okay.”
Doc gets to work and draws my blood. I also give him a urine sample.
“Let me get this pregnancy test done and I’ll be right back.” Doc walks away for a couple minutes and returns.
“Well?” I ask nervously.
“You are not pregnant.”
“Thank you lord. You don’t know how happy that makes me.”
“I’m sorry you have to worry about all these things. I should have the results in a few days. I did give you prophylactic antibiotics, so I don’t think it will turn out positive, but to be on the safe side we will double check.”
“Thank you, Doc. You don’t know how much that means to me. Thank you for all your help.”
I pull my hood back up and head towards the door. Doc stays behind and cleans up.
When I open the door, I see Hawk waiting for me.
“You didn’t have to wait,” I say.
“I told you I would be here. I’m a man of my word.”
“This is a nice extension you guys built here. Doc’s room is beautiful. Did you all get rooms like that?” I ask.
“We sure did. Would you like a tour?”
“Sure.”
We head down the hallway back to the new extension they added on. It’s much more than just a few rooms.
“We added a whole wing for the leadership. We also added extra bedroom rooms back here, another garage and a few other rooms,” Hawk says as we move through.
We end up at a room at the end of the hallway.
“Why did we stop?”
“I don’t want you to presume, I’m assuming anything, but this is my room.” He opens up the door. His room is immaculate and smells like him. He has a little apartment in here. It’s not just a bedroom, he has a bedroom, kitchen, living room and a bathroom off to the side with what I assume is his closet.
“Wow, I wasn’t expecting this. This is an apartment. You have an apartment back here Hawk.” I wasn’t expecting this at all.
“I don’t have a house outside the clubhouse. The other brothers do but I haven’t bought one yet. I have an apartment in t
he city but I rarely visit unless I’m there for business.”
“Wow, so this is your home.”
“Yup, this is home. It has everything I need and want.”
“It’s very impressive. Why did you want to show me this place?”
“I wanted to spend time with you. I’m attracted and drawn to you. That’s not easy for me to say. I’m not a man who talks much about his feelings but there’s something about you that drives me crazy. I can’t stand when you talk to Jimmy either.”
“Jimmy and I have history. He makes me feel safe, he’s familiar and gives me comfort and doesn’t make me afraid of men.”
“I want to make you feel safe.”
“You do but I don’t know what your intentions are. Jimmy and I are friends and nothing more. I know he isn’t expecting or wanting anything more. With you, I don’t know what you want. You like to boss me around and tell me what to do. I’ve had enough of that with my ex and look where that got me.”
“That’s not fair. I would never lay a finger on you. At least not in a way that would harm you or cause you harm. I’m not that guy, Hannah. I know you know that.”
“I know. I’m just afraid.”
Hawk takes a seat on his bed. I join, sitting next to him.
“Hannah, I want you to know that I’m not going to hurt you. I would never hurt you. No one in this club will ever hurt you or lay a finger on you. No will ever hurt you again. I’m giving you my word. As long as you are in my protection, I will do everything that I can to ensure that you are safe.”
“I understand. I hate being locked up and told what to do. Look, can we make a compromise here?”
“I’m listening.”
“I will agree to be a good girl and stay put if you promise to not hide anything from me when it comes to me or my cousin’s safety. Do we have a deal?”
“I will tell you anything that comes up as long as it doesn’t interfere with club business. You have to understand, there are things I can tell you and things I can’t especially when it comes to the club. That’s the way it has always been.”
“I can deal with that. I promise to not be a pain in the ass anymore.”
“Deal.” He extends his hand out to shake. I shake it.
